Introduction to the Atom

  1. Bohr Model

  2. Heisenberg Model

  3. Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

The Atom

In this video, we discuss the basics of an atom. This includes what it is, the three main subatomic particles it contains, the structure these particles take, and, lastly, how each of the particles are measured in terms of mass.

Isotopes, Ions, and the Bohr Model

Watch now for a thrilling continuation of the previous video which gives even more information on the Bohr Model of the atom and the science behind ions and isotopes. What are they, how do they form, etc.?

Advanced Topic: Intro to Quantum Physics (Wave-Particle Duality)

In this video, I take you through one of the most important concepts to understand quantum physics: wave-particle duality. We first talk about electromagnetic waves, their properties, and a few examples of them before moving on to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle and the duality that exists in electrons. We conclude with an explanation of the Double-Slit Experiment, an example of which is linked in the video to the left.
